  • I understand that instructions are given for my safety and I agree to follow instructions given to me by staff and volunteers on the Great Australian Charity Cattle Drive 2025.
  • I understand that wearing an appropriate riding helmet may reduce the severity of an injury should an accident happen and agree that I will always wear a riding helmet whilst riding, leading, saddling and grooming horses whilst on The Great Australian Charity Cattle Drive 2025.
  • I understand that the Horse selection process on The Great Australian Charity Cattle Drive 2025 will make decisions based on information I give them and agree to always be honest and volunteer information about:
  • My abilities and riding experience
  • Any previous riding accidents
  • Any medical condition(s) which may affect my ability to ride
  • My age, weight and Height
  • We have a safety weight restriction to ensure the safety of both our horses and our riders. Our riders maximum weight restriction is 100kg, with all riding gear and equipment on. At the time of your booking you will be asked to provide information such as your height, weight and previous riding experience so that we can allocate the most suitable horse/pony.
  • We advise that all riders are required to wear suitable clothing for horse riding activities, and this includes heeled riding boots
  • I understand that horses can act in a sudden and unpredictable way and horse riding and associated activities are a dangerous recreational activity with significant risk of injury including death.  You will be asked to sign a waiver form to state that you are aware of the risks involved – see waiver attached
